How does Contentpass work?
Signing up for Contentpass is a one-time process and allows access to all participating websites without advertising or tracking.
The revenue from the subscriptions is distributed to the participating publishers.
Publishers are paid based on page views by Contentpass users and no personal data is collected. Instead, anonymized statistics on page views are provided.
What does ad-free mean?
Contentpass publishers do not display any banner ads or video ads for paying users. Only discreet self-promotion is permitted, such as advertising for premium content or paid links in editorial articles.
CCM19 and Contentpass for publishers
Publishers who use CCM19 can integrate an alternative cookie banner that offers the option of taking out a Contentpass subscription. Instead of the classic cookie banner, visitors have the choice of either agreeing to the use of cookies or purchasing a Contentpass subscription to enjoy an ad-free and privacy-friendly user experience.
If you are registered as a partner with Contentpass, you can create an alternative banner with CCM19. This function can be found in the "Developer settings" under the option for "ad-free networks".
Further information on participating in ad-free networks can be found on our website.
