Does CCM19 recognize cookies automatically?

Yes, CCM19 can recognize cookies automatically. Two different scanners are available for this purpose, which complement each other:

1.Onboarding scanner
When you create a new domain in CCM19, you can perform a quick scan as part of the automated onboarding process. In order to provide a quick result, only the start page is scanned. All scripts and cookies that are integrated on all pages via the head of the website can then be found here. All elements found are automatically added to your CCM19 configuration.

2.Website crawler
After the initial scan by the onboarding scanner, the website crawler takes over and analyzes the entire website at a fixed interval. The frequency of this crawl depends on your plan.
In the Free and Starter tariffs, the crawler runs every 8 days; in higher tariffs, the interval can also be set to every 4 days or daily.

You can configure the behavior of the website crawler in the settings for a domain and specify which crawl budget is used for the domain. Filter lists can be used to determine which URLs the crawler should take into account.

Under "Available settings", you can also set whether newly found elements should be activated automatically or whether you would prefer to check the elements manually first.

Overview: Cookie crawler intervals
and crawl budgets by tariff

How often and extensively this automatic crawl takes place depends on the tariff you have booked:

Manual check of the cookie data

Despite automatic detection, it is recommended that you regularly check the cookies suggested by the cookie crawler manually. This ensures that the purpose, provider, duration and other relevant information is always correct and up-to-date - and that your website complies with the requirements of the GDPR and other data protection regulations at all times.
