Is CCM19 suitable for managing cookie consents in multiple languages?
Yes, CCM19 is also ideal for multilingual websites and ensures that visitors can give their consent in different languages. The CCM19 cookie banner and policy can be provided in multiple languages, which increases user-friendliness and makes it easier to comply with legal requirements in different countries. The language selection of the banner is automated by default, but can also be set in other ways.
Controlling the language via the lang attribute or the browser settings
By default, CCM19 takes the language from the lang attribute of your website and displays the cookie banner accordingly.
In the developer settings, however, it is possible to use the language preferred by the visitor's browser instead.

To do this, CCM19 accesses the so-called HTTP header Accept-Language. This is automatically sent by the browser and specifies the preferred language in which the visitor would like content to be displayed. If you activate this option, the language of the cookie banner is automatically set based on this information - regardless of which lang attribute is stored in the HTML.
Individual content per language
Individual banner texts, data protection notices and cookie information can be stored for each language. This allows you to respond specifically to language and country-specific requirements.
Note on tariff dependency:
The use of multiple languages depends on the selected tariff. Details can be found in the current CCM19 tariff overview.
