What does CCM19 count as calls in the full service tariff?
We differentiate between the display of the banner and the calls of the script itself: The banner is usually only displayed once when the visitor calls up the website for the first time and gives or rejects consent. The script, on the other hand, is activated every time the page is called up, which in principle corresponds to the pageviews. In more technical terms, a call is counted when the CCM19 script is successfully executed in a visitor's browser - e.g. when loading an HTML page with active JavaScript and triggered initialization.
The reason: With each call, CCM19 must check, for example, whether consent exists, existing consent has been revoked or something has changed on the provider side in the meantime. This requires an ongoing comparison, i.e. the activity of CCM19. The consent must also be compared and saved for visitors who return to the site months later.
Typical bots from Google, Bing, analysis services or internal monitoring tools such as UptimeRobot are not counted as visits during crawling, as these are excluded from counting in a list managed by CCM19 that applies to all customers - and therefore do not affect your tariff.
The current number of monthly views can be viewed at any time via the personal CCM19 dashboard.
